Meet the maker!

So, I am a little bit behind on my first blog, which I did not want to happen, but it’s with good reason!

I have my first stockist! So I have been making wax melts and soaps like goodness knows what over the weekend and then late last night I was like, ‘what the hot-dog! I have not written my blog about frosting wax melts.

So whilst I am working on that, I thought I’d take the time to write a small bit about myself.

I’m Melissa although I prefer Mel, I am Geordie by birth but have lived in Spennymoor, County Durham since 2018.  I have a young family and a ‘very handsome husband’ his words!  We have 2 cats which are very much part of the family. 

Tonks is almost thirteen years old and she’s a grumpy old soul, who likes to spend her days on the windowsill when the sun comes through or in the cat-(con)servatory to sunbathe. 

Penny is nearly 4 years old and she’s a little minx, spends most of her time out all night and sleeping all day, only stopping to shout for food!!

I started making soaps during the pandemic and wax melts were a bit of a happy accident, I was so fed-up of the wax melt offerings, I though I’d make my own, and 3 years later, here we are!
