Nordic Cedar Glycerine Soap opens with a brisk and enchanting combination of Green Pine Needles, refreshing Cypress, minty Eucalyptus and sharp Peppermint. These elements intertwine, conjuring images of a snow-covered forest, where each breath carries the purity of nature’s icy artistry. Delve deeper into the forest and you’ll discover the heart of the fragrance, where Fir Balsam takes the centre stage. This middle note evokes the sensation of strolling through a woodland grove, the air imbued with the resinous, woody aroma of evergreen trees. Finally, the woody base settles in. The Cedarwood exudes a sense of warmth and stability, while the resinous quality adds depth and complexity, evoking images of sap-laden branches and the reassuring strength of nature’s endurance. Winter at its finest.
My glycerine soaps are made using a vegetable derived Melt & Pour soap base, free from the synthetic surfactant sodium lauryl sulfate. This soap base is used for the manufacture of translucent soap bars and it contains no sodium lauryl sulfate, has excellent transparency, is brilliant for foaming.
It has excellent moisturising properties and leaves a smooth skin feel as a result of high glycerine content and its neutral odour provides excellent fragrance lift.
This time I have chosen to go with recyclable clingfilm to wrap the soap in this time, saying goodbye to plastic shrink wrap…
Bacofoil® Non-PVC Cling Film is Non-PVC, it’s 100% recyclable, and it’s now even more sustainable as it’s made with 70% recycled resources. Once you’ve finished with the wrapping, you simply add it to your bags recycling at take to larger supermarkets.
