It's Monday already 😩 the weekend has been quick again but it's been so much fun. Spent lots of time with little Grumpy Goat at secret breakfast club and after a walk at Hardwick Park I came home and made a start on a bespoke order with various levels of success 🙌🏼

Today it's about cosy autumn smells.....

Spiced Oud and Cashmere

Dark woods, smooth spices, and modern cosy warmth…

Spiced Oud and Cashmere is a modern blend of dark woods, sophisticated sweetness and smooth spicy aromas. A light sparkle of citrus contrasts beautifully with rich spicy tones of black pepper, cardamom, and clove bud, all wrapped around hints of almond and glamorous floral touches in the heart.

It opens with warm, aromatic oud wood and spice, setting the tone for a deep, luxurious fragrance. The middle brightens with citrus, cardamom, and black pepper, adding freshness and heat. Finally, a soft, elegant base of white florals and almond brings the fragrance to a smooth, cashmere‑soft close.

Top Notes: Oud Wood, Spice
Middle Notes: Citrus, Cardamom, Black Pepper
Base Notes: White Florals, Almond

What a productive weekend I've had. Have updated the website with a new wax melt, have rejigged the bespoke collection a bit more and have lots of new collections coming to the website over the next few months and I'm so excited about it!!

But today is New Melt Monday and I can't wait to introduce...........

❤️❤️❤️ Rosewood and Velvet ❤️❤️❤️

This melt was an exclusive in the February Subscription box and it's absolutely beautiful 😍

Rosewood and Velvet is a beautiful sweet, fresh and floral wax melt, with top notes of Pear and Armoise which lead into a middle of Amber, English Lavender and Jasmine which lie on a base of Sandalwood, Musk and Vanilla.

Today its all about wax melt warmers.

I sell a small selection of cermaic warmers which I'm hoping to expand on over the coming year. I do get asked do all warmers suit my wax melts, and the answer is no.

Tealight warmers emit enough heat to melt my wax giving off the scents you'd expect. But remember to use a 4hr fragrance free tealight!!

There are some electric warmers that just aren't suitable for my wax.

E.g. Sentsy use Paraffin wax which melts at a lower temperature so they use a lower wattage bulb to melt their wax melts.

This isn't suitable for my wax melts as they are Rapeseed and Coconut which melts at a higher temperature. You can still use a Sentsy warmer, it just won't warm the wax enough to give off the amazing smells. I have tried this myself and sometimes I can't smell anything and when I put the wax in a tealight warmer the smell is there.

And at no point will I ever be using paraffin wax as it's not environmentally friendly nor does it give a clean burn.

I have 2 electric warmers which are absolutely perfect for my wax and I use these all the time around the home and I use tealight warmers in the bathrooms, kitchen and also in the lounge when I want to get cosy 😊

I love my tealight warmers as you have more options on where to put them around the home, and I don't have to find a plug to get going, I just have to remember to have lots of tealights in stock!

Tealight Safety

⚠️⚠️ Dangers of using 8-hour tealights ⚠️⚠️

🔥 Overheating: They generate excessive heat, causing burners to get too hot, which can lead to cracks and breaks in the ceramic or glass.

🚒 Fire Risk: Cracked burners can drip hot wax onto the flame, potentially causing a fire.

🔥 Burns Wax Too Fast: Intense heat boils the fragrance oils out of your wax melts quickly, leaving you with just melted wax and no scent.

🚒 Not Designed For It: Standard wax warmers are built for the lower, consistent heat of 4-hour tealights, not the prolonged, intense heat from larger ones.

Good morning, I hope you've all had an amazing Christmas and you've all been spoilt 😊

We had a lovely day, just the 3 of us and not so little Grumpy Goat had a fab day of opening presents 😀

Today we're going to the Cinema to see Spongebob Squarepants, it's a super early screening, I hadn't planned to be up this early but Penny decided that she wanted me awake so she jumped on my head! Ha!:

Although we are a while away from Spring, it's Monday and time for a change of melts in the lounge and today, I'm going for....

Springtime

If you like the smell of the similarly named cleaning scent you will love this Springtime wax melt.

Springtime is a fresh green herbal fragrance with Lemon, Basil, Armoise and Thyme enriched by Green Leaves supported by a heart of Pine Needle, Rose and Lily resting on a clean base of Dry Flowers and Musk.

To me, this melt is a good transition from Winter to Spring and when we get back from the Cinema, it's going on!

https://thegrumpygoatsoapcompany.com/product/springtime-wax-melt/

Do I have any ceramic warmers that would match with these melts?

Well yes I do...

Beehive Wax Melt Warmer - £10.00

Shaped like a beehive with a little bee on top of the lid, this warmer is perfect for all bumblebee lovers and those who love nature! Simply lift the top lid piece and pop your fave wax melt (or essential oils) in the yellow basin, add a tea-light and away you go. The scents will filter out the holes, while the light of your lit tea light in the bottom section will glow from cutouts.

I only have 1 of these super cute warmers left in stock and I know it'll go quickly....

Oh my goodness we are at the 1st of December.....

Because I've not got my Christmas tree up just yet, although it is down from the loft, I'm going for one of my favourite melts today...

Christmas Tree 🎄

Revive the magic of Christmas all year round with my Christmas Tree wax melt. From the festive fun of walking through a pine forest to find the perfect tree to cosy nights with the smell of fresh pine in the living room, this fragrance brings you back to this most wonderful time of the year.

With the invigorating aroma of fresh pines and the deep richness of cedarwood and sandalwood, this wax melt really gets you ready for Christmas.

With top notes of pine, eucalyptus and green notes. Middle notes of pine and finally base notes of pine, cedarwood, sandalwood and guaiacwood.

This is such a gorgeous melt 😍 i do have it on during the year as well as it really brings freshness indoors!

But, don't miss out, i only have 2 left in stock and then we are sold out!

https://thegrumpygoatsoapcompany.com/product/christmas-tree/

If you purchase a Christmas Mystery Box, you might get one in your order!! Eeekkkk!!

Hope you all have an amazing start to your week and enjoy opening your advent calendars...because you're never to old! Ha!!

Good morning all, hope you've all had an amazing weekend 😀

I'm awake and trying to convince myself to get up and go to the gym but I've put the winter duvet on and I just dont want to move...

But as it's I'm changing out my wax melt in my Autumn Gonk warmer and going for....

Sweater Weather

This is an incredibly fresh scent that evokes the feeling of a crisp, cool autumn morning.

This wax melt is a unique, fresh scent that blends crisp Juniper Berry and Sage.

The earthy clean smell will remind you of being outside in the brisk air, surrounded by the beautiful changing leaves during autumn, with notes of Juniper Berries, fresh Eucalyptus, and Sage and a tiny bit of Woods, Sweet Spearmint and Dew mixed in.

https://thegrumpygoatsoapcompany.com/product/sweater-weather-wax-melts/

If you need a new wax melt warmer, look no further, I have a small selection of warmers available with prices starting from £5, you don't have to break the bank for your home to smell amazing 😉
