What a productive weekend I've had. Have updated the website with a new wax melt, have rejigged the bespoke collection a bit more and have lots of new collections coming to the website over the next few months and I'm so excited about it!!

But today is New Melt Monday and I can't wait to introduce...........

This melt was an exclusive in the February Subscription box and it's absolutely beautiful 😍

Rosewood and Velvet is a beautiful sweet, fresh and floral wax melt, with top notes of Pear and Armoise which lead into a middle of Amber, English Lavender and Jasmine which lie on a base of Sandalwood, Musk and Vanilla.

Today its all about wax melt warmers.

I sell a small selection of cermaic warmers which I'm hoping to expand on over the coming year. I do get asked do all warmers suit my wax melts, and the answer is no.

Tealight warmers emit enough heat to melt my wax giving off the scents you'd expect. But remember to use a 4hr fragrance free tealight!!

There are some electric warmers that just aren't suitable for my wax.

E.g. Sentsy use Paraffin wax which melts at a lower temperature so they use a lower wattage bulb to melt their wax melts.

This isn't suitable for my wax melts as they are Rapeseed and Coconut which melts at a higher temperature. You can still use a Sentsy warmer, it just won't warm the wax enough to give off the amazing smells. I have tried this myself and sometimes I can't smell anything and when I put the wax in a tealight warmer the smell is there.

And at no point will I ever be using paraffin wax as it's not environmentally friendly nor does it give a clean burn.

I have 2 electric warmers which are absolutely perfect for my wax and I use these all the time around the home and I use tealight warmers in the bathrooms, kitchen and also in the lounge when I want to get cosy 😊

I love my tealight warmers as you have more options on where to put them around the home, and I don't have to find a plug to get going, I just have to remember to have lots of tealights in stock!

🔥 Overheating: They generate excessive heat, causing burners to get too hot, which can lead to cracks and breaks in the ceramic or glass.

🚒 Fire Risk: Cracked burners can drip hot wax onto the flame, potentially causing a fire.

🔥 Burns Wax Too Fast: Intense heat boils the fragrance oils out of your wax melts quickly, leaving you with just melted wax and no scent.

🚒 Not Designed For It: Standard wax warmers are built for the lower, consistent heat of 4-hour tealights, not the prolonged, intense heat from larger ones.

Good morning, I hope you've all had an amazing Christmas and you've all been spoilt 😊

We had a lovely day, just the 3 of us and not so little Grumpy Goat had a fab day of opening presents 😀

Today we're going to the Cinema to see Spongebob Squarepants, it's a super early screening, I hadn't planned to be up this early but Penny decided that she wanted me awake so she jumped on my head! Ha!:

Although we are a while away from Spring, it's Monday and time for a change of melts in the lounge and today, I'm going for....

Springtime

If you like the smell of the similarly named cleaning scent you will love this Springtime wax melt.

Springtime is a fresh green herbal fragrance with Lemon, Basil, Armoise and Thyme enriched by Green Leaves supported by a heart of Pine Needle, Rose and Lily resting on a clean base of Dry Flowers and Musk.

To me, this melt is a good transition from Winter to Spring and when we get back from the Cinema, it's going on!
